Shaun Brown is a freelance audio engineer based out of Cullowhee, NC. He is currently attending Western Carolina University where he will graduate with a degree in Commercial Music and Audio production in Spring of 2026.

In the audio world, Shaun has become intrigued with the production of live sound especially involving the marching arts. He currently serves as the Lead Audio Engineer for Civitas Independent, Enka High School Marching Band, and the WCU Pride of the Mountains Marching Band. Outside of these roles Shaun also serves on the Audio Teams of Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps and Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps. Shaun also serves as a broadcast audio engineer for the Community Bible Church in Highlands, NC.

Shaun started his audio engineering business as a way to reach less fortunate band programs and help others in the community gain access to the resources necessary for successful audio production. With the connections he has made in the audio industry he hopes to bridge the gap between high end audio production and limited high school budgets.

In his free time, Shaun enjoys spending time in the outdoors and golfing in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina and visiting his family in Myrtle Beach, SC.
