Shaun Brown is a freelance audio engineer based in the Southeast US. He is currently pursuing a degree in Commercial Music and Audio Production at Western Carolina University, with plans to graduate in Spring 2026.

Shaun has developed a strong passion for live sound production, particularly within the marching arts. He serves as Lead Audio Engineer for Civitas Independent and the Enka High School Marching Band. In addition to these roles, he works on the audio teams for Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps and Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps. Shaun also contributes as a broadcast audio engineer for Community Bible Church in Highlands, NC.

He founded his audio engineering business to support under-resourced band programs and help them access the tools and expertise needed for high-quality audio production. Through his industry connections and hands-on experience, Shaun aims to bridge the gap between high-end audio design and the budget realities many school music programs face.

Outside of audio, Shaun enjoys spending time outdoors, golfing in the mountains of Western North Carolina, and visiting family in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
